The Vilcabamba Mountain ranges where lies the Salkantay massif, which is beautiful and lonely. Dominated by the same Apu Salkantay has many high snow capped mountains like Tucarhuay (5.910 ft.), Veronica (5.682 m) and Huacayhuilca (5.361 meters), among others.
