Itinerary

ITINERARY

Departure from Cusco in the morning, we will visit the interactive textiles in Chinchero (process of craft textile production, coloration, iconography, the weaving looms tell the stories of the communities ). Next we go on with the sight of the archeological sites of Cheqoq and Moray, center of agricultural Inca experimentation in Maras as well as the colonial Temple. Go on with the sight of Salineras, salt mines with explotation and communal administration.

Right after the professional guides explanations, we will have Sumak Andean lunch, which is offered by the Association of "Mujeres Artesanas Sumak Huaycuy Llankaska", group of crafts women that are keeping the technologies of typical dishes preparation of the zone that they have inherited of their ancestors and they use natural products of the zone that come from local farmers, while enjoying the gastronomic experience you will be able to learn the importance of the Andean products that are cultivated, grown and harvested in accordance with the mother earth.

In the afternoon we return to the city of Cusco.
